The Courts of Aragon have proposed this Thursday to the Government of Aragon, in plenary session, to reduce the inheritance and donations tax to 99 percent “until the derogation” of the tax is produced. Has approved a non-VOX bill, amended by the PP with the votes in favor of this party and PAR and Cs.
To defend the impulse text, the VOX spokesperson, Santiago Morón, has requested an end to the inheritance and donation tax because “it has been and is the most questioned because it involves an unfair, duplicate and disproportionate confiscation of the heritage of the Aragonese.”
Morón has argued that “it involves double taxation and discourages savings”, contributes “in a low contribution to the maintenance of the welfare state and affects the phenomenon of renunciation of inheritances.”
In the debate on the initiative, Álvaro Burrell (PSOE), José Luis Saz (Citizens), Marta de Santos (Podemos), Carmen Martínez (CHA), Jesús Guerrero (PAR) and Álvaro Sanz (IU) also participated.
