Xiaomi has presented the new generation of its T models, this time based on the 11 range released with the Xiaomi Mi 11 almost a year ago.
As usual, these are smartphones with state-of-the-art hardware, featuring new technologies and designs; In the case of the Xiaomi 11 T Pro, the great novelty is Xiaomi HyperCharge, the fast charge that now reaches no less than 120 W with the charger included in the box. That means that this smartphone is capable of being charged to 100% in just 17 minutes, according to the manufacturer, despite the huge 5,000 mAh battery it uses.
That means that, if we are short of charge and we need to continue using the mobile, just by keeping it plugged in for 10 minutes we could use it for hours; Specifically, Xiaomi explains that with that time you can get 11 hours of calls, 7 hours of video playback, 5 hours of browsing and 2 hours of video recording at 1080p.
This has been achieved thanks to a double-charging system that reduces overheating, with double-cell graphene batteries to improve electrical conductivity. Another advantage of this technology is that the mobile is now capable of operating in more extreme temperature situations , and can even be turned on at -10ºC. Xiaomi also promises a high level of safety, given the power of this load, and has obtained the TÜV Rheinland safety certificate.
This 120 W fast charge will only be used in the Xiaomi 11 T Pro, while in the basic Xiaomi 11 T the charge is 67 W, with the charger included in the box.
Another aspect in which Xiaomi has influenced a lot in the presentation is in the cameras, designed with what it calls “Cinemagic”, inspired by iconic films; This is reflected in the symmetrical design with two large sensors reminiscent of the tape reels used in old cameras. The triple camera system promises to be able to take the best photos regardless of the situation or the subject.
The main camera will be 108 MP, and will be accompanied by an 8 MP wide-angle sensor and a 5 MP macro camera with two-fold optical zoom. As for video, we can record in 8K resolution, with HDR10 + to improve contrast and colors, and with ‘optimal’ levels of brightness.
Screen is another aspect that Xiaomi has focused a lot on, with the best panel in the range so far. It is flat AMOLED technology screen with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz , added to a 480 Hz touch panel to obtain a faster response when using the interface or playing games. The panel also boasts TrueColor to display images and videos with absolute color precision, and is protected by the new Gorilla Glass Victus, the most resistant to date. In both models the size will be 6.67 inches.
The stereo speakers tuned by Harman / Kardon are placed in such a way that our hands will not cover the sound when we hold the device horizontally, so we can better enjoy Dolby Vision-Atmos.
Interestingly, Xiaomi has opted for two different solutions for the processor. The Xiaomi 11 T Pro will use the Snapdragon 888 pointer , although it will be the original version and not the Snapdragon 888+ that was released this year; therefore, we will have 5G and the advantages of the 5nm manufacturing process, and it will be accompanied by 8 or 12 GB of RAM. Instead, the basic Xiaomi Mi 11 T will use Mediatek’s Dimensity 1200-Ultra, the manufacturer’s most powerful chip with a 6 nm manufacturing process and support for 5G networks and 8 GB of RAM.
The Xiaomi 11 T will be priced at 499 euros , while the Xiaomi 11 T Pro will start at 649 euros for the 8 GB version, and can reach 749 euros with 12 GB.
Along with these devices, Xiaomi has also presented the new Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE , which we should not confuse with the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G that was already available in Spain. This will be a cheaper version, but it does not lose 5G connectivity as it is based on a Snapdragon 778 5G.
Otherwise it is very similar, including a 64 MP camera, an 8 MP wide angle and a 5 MP macro, in addition to the 20 MP front camera. The price will be 369 euros, about 30 euros less than the current Mi 11 Lite 5G.
