When we find ourselves in a situation as delicate as losing a job, the first step we must take is to claim the job application, an essential document to return to the job market as soon as possible.
For that reason, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has recalled how to apply for this card. As the agency has reported on its website , the mechanism depends on the autonomous community in which the citizen resides.
Thus, in the event that the citizen resides in an autonomous community must go to the office of the regional employment service that corresponds to him for the address of his home. Depending on the regional administration, you can carry out the procedure electronically, although it is best to contact the employment service and make this type of inquiry.
On the contrary, if you reside in Ceuta or Melilla, you will have to go to the SEPE office that corresponds to your address. Or, failing that, carry out the procedure at the SEPE Electronic Headquarters by accessing with username + password, digital certificate (you can get it in four simple steps ) or electronic DNI.
What documentation is needed to get the job application?
In either case, the citizen must submit certain necessary documentation to be able to carry out the procedure:
-The National Identity Document and, in addition, the residence and / or work permit if it is a foreign person.
-The Social Security card. Foreigners can only contribute it if they have worked in Spain before.
-Justifying both professional qualifications and academic professionals, if they were in possession of any of them.
What is the job demand for?
The SEPE defines it as “the application for a job made by a worker, unemployed or not, before an Office of the Public Employment Services of the National Employment System”.
These are one of the most important and necessary requirements to access the contributory unemployment benefit (unemployment) and others such as the unemployment benefit, the subsidy for people over 52 years of age or the Active Insertion Income. It also allows access to training courses for the unemployed in order to facilitate their return to the labor market.
