The approach to nursing adopted by the Bloomcare Rowan Garth residence is underpinned by the Bloomcare family’s overarching approach to care. Bespoke packages of care and personalised care plans ensure that each resident and their families are treated with the integrity and respect they deserve, whilst reinforcing the independence of residents.
In terms of dementia care, Bloomcare provides personalised services, on-site amenities and life enrichment programmes in an access-controlled, intimate, professionally managed setting. At Bloomcare Rowan Garth, staff build trusting, compassionate relationships with residents, taking the time to learn each client’s unique personalities and life stories; creating a solid foundation for effective dementia care; and paving the way for a better, more stimulating, more fulfilling way of life for both residents and their families.
Bloomcare’s mental health care services deliver consistent expert care and adult residential services across North West England. With a focus on rehabilitation and support, Bloomcare enacts positive change in an effective manner, with an emphasis on person-centred care.
Bloomcare also provides rehabilitation services, helping residents to overcome drink and drug addictions, enabling them to maintain abstinence, and providing them with a much improved quality of life. Bloomcare achieves this through a process of assessment, treatment, detoxification and aftercare, helping people who have experienced problems with alcohol, opiates, benzodiazepines and other substances that lead to psychological and physical dependence to overcome their additions and lead happier, more fulfilling lives.
Bloomcare also offers Alpha sessions, presenting an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith, ask questions and share their opinions. Each talk addresses a different question of faith, creating talking points and encouraging discussion. Staged all over the world today, in homes, churches, universities and cafes, Alpha sessions usually start with food. Whether it is a quick chat over coffee or a gathering of friends at a dinner party, food brings people together. Usually around 30-minutes long and delivered across 11 weeks, Alpha sessions can be presented live or as a video, exploring the basics of Christianity and the big issues around faith.
Finally, Bloomcare also provides reintegration care, providing clients with a little respite and helping them to hone the skills they need to make lifestyle choices that lead to a healthier, more enriching way of life. The Bloomcare Rowan Garth expert nursing team is on hand 24/7 to lend a hand, supporting residents where required in every aspect of their daily lives, whether they have physical disabilities, particular feeding requirements, need intensive rehabilitative care or are affected by a long-term chronic condition. The Bloomcare Rowan Garth team is always on hand to support and care for residents, providing them with companionship and support around the clock.
