Concluding 2023 with an impressive $740 billion, the global furniture industry is gearing up for a crucial meet-up at the International Istanbul Furniture Fair, happening from 23rd to 28th January. This esteemed event, a significant and traditional assembly in the sector, is expected to welcome 200,000 professionals from across the world.
The global furniture sector is assembling for the International Istanbul Furniture Fair (IIFF2024), scheduled from 23rd to 28th January. This significant event, a collaborative project between TUYAP Fair Organisation Group and Mos Fair Organisation, supported by the Furniture Associations Federation (MOSFED), is set to host 200,000 industry experts from 200 countries. The fair, to be held at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center and Istanbul Fair Center, will feature over a thousand companies, representing 3,000 brands.
As a landmark event in the furniture industry, the fair, under the theme “Visit Istanbul, Experience Istanbul,” aims to showcase the latest 2024 design innovations from a variety of product groups to its visitors.

Nurturing a Vibrant Setting for New Business Ventures
ResearchAndMarkets’ figures indicate that the global furniture market, which ended 2023 with $739.44 billion, is expected to rise to $935.9 billion by 2027. Türkiye, with an annual production of $12 billion, is prepared to host its international peers. The IIFF will display various types of furniture, including modern modular, luxury, beds and bases, baby and children’s, youth room, garden, office-school furniture, and accessories.
IIFF2024, spanning six days, will organise its exhibition halls at the Istanbul Fair Center and Tuyap Fair and Congress Center, divided according to product groups. This arrangement will enable visitors to engage in an extensive exploration of a wide array of products. The fair is also designed to foster a dynamic environment that is conducive to establishing new business partnerships.
